Stranger In Me

       This poem was written somewhere around 1995. It’s the shortest poem I’ve ever penned, but that’s part of what makes it special to me. There is power in its simplicity and directness.
        

STRANGER IN ME

My greatest fear  
Is that someone I don’t know
Lives inside of me
And I can’t make him go
