Meet The Osprey's
Monday, August 3, 2009 at 8:35AM "Down around the corner, 'bout a half a mile from here....you see the Ospreys fly, and you watch them disappear."
I pirated virtually all of that line from the Doobie Brother's song Long Train Runnin'.
These are The Ospreys. This is where they live. We're good friends and neighbors. I'm very grateful to know them.

Pandion Haliaetus

I'm Huge And The Babes Go Wild
Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 7:44AM I stole that title from a song, but it's perfect for this photograph.
As you can see, I used to be a lot bigger. This shot was taken right after I tried out for the lead part in the Japanese monster movie sequel Return Of The War Of The Gargantuas. I was also up for the part in a new Godzilla movie tentatively entitled Godzilla Versus The Incredible Shirtless Man.
I didn't get either part.

Thursday Morning in July
Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 7:49AM What a spectacular backdrop for the tranquilly chaotic activity of wildlife. Dozens of species of birds darting about. Rabbits feasting on a seemingly endless green breakfast table. From the rock to the sky; from the ocean to the air; from the green to the grey to the blue; everything in this picture, even that which we can not see, even that which appears inanimate, is indeed alive. Especially the grateful viewer of this at 6am this morning. Peace.
