    Feather & Fur

A family of bunny rabbits inhabited my property this past summer. Almost every night from June unil late September, I would see them gorging on the banquet of my green, tasty, lawn carpet. I once counted seven bunnies simultaneously having dinner in my yard. Mom and dad played lookout, while the five babies munched on.

Unfortunately for the rabbit family, a hawk also started hanging around as well. Gorgeous to witness, he would hover about twenty feet above ground and scan for movement. As this picture illustrates, he found some.

I appreciate the cyclical aspect of nature. Birth and death, and birth again. And I'm saddened by the loss of one of my unofficially adopted pet rabbits. I buried the fur out back.

Just A Dad and His Twin Boys

This was the last picture my twin brother and I ever took with our dad. Today being the second anniversary of his death, I thought he'd like to see this shot of him and his twin boys together. Yes. I know he still sees me. And talks to me. Sometimes I think I hear him even better now. I Love You dad.

Wild Harbor Road in late October

Cape Cod is not all scrub pines and sand dunes. We experience a fantastic explosion of colors in autumn. It peaks here up to three weeks later than in Boston.
